Process Category Sales Manager with a strong technical background – for SPX Flow in Soeborg

SPX Flow is a global leading supplier of process equipment for the dairy, food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. SPX Flow is looking for a Process Category Sales Manager for their Anhydro brand that covers a complete range of liquid concentration and powder processing solutions as well as equipment for the mentioned industries.

Responsibilities
As Process Category Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales directly to customers or via representatives in dedicated geographical areas or countries. Your base will be the SPX Flow office in Soeborg, where you will be the technical expert in the sales process.

You will work in close collaboration with the Engineering, Project Management and Legal functions. Your communication with all involved parties is key to success throughout the sales process.

The role as Process Category Sales Manager is an extroverted specialist role that balances the details of the sales projects and the close communication with the customer and internal stakeholders.

Alongside the specific sales projects you contribute to the strategy within Drying and Evaporation, by developing, planning and executing new sales activities.

Your profile
Your technical background and eye for detail combined with process knowledge and the ability to establish professional relationships are essential to your success in the role. You have a deep understanding of projects and their complex dynamics. Furthermore, you have the drive to reach agreed goals and are not discouraged by set-backs or unforeseen challenges.

Your background

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Food Technology.
  • 5+ years of experience with sales of complex technical solutions.
  • Persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in handling sales related tasks such as customer inquiries, specifications, proposals and order forecasts.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret relevant business periodicals, financial reports and governmental/legal regulations.
  • Fluent in English and experience from an international organization.
